At Maison Aurèle we cook French haute cuisine to the rhythm of the season: fish that arrives each morning, vegetables from small farms, pastries baked only hours before service.
The kitchen is led by Chef Étienne Marceau, after twenty years between Paris and Lyon, and the dining room greets you with white flowers and crystal chandeliers, like the old salons of Paris. All our meat is halal and we serve no alcohol.
The seasonal menu in seven courses, about two and a half hours at the table.
Comté gougère, beetroot tartlet and a chilled velouté in a tiny cup.

From the flowers on the table to the soufflé at the end, everything was quietly perfect. We felt in Paris without the flight.
We sat inside the kitchen and the chef talked us through every plate. Nine courses and we never felt the time.
A beurre blanc exactly as in Lyon. Real French cooking, without fuss.
Afternoon tea here is our favourite ritual. The mille-feuille alone is worth the visit.
Elegant: collared shirts for gentlemen; no sportswear or shorts. Coats can be left at the cloakroom.
Complimentary valet at the main entrance. Please arrive ten minutes early; we hold tables for twenty minutes.
Tell us about any allergy or diet when you book and we adapt the whole menu. A five-course vegetarian menu is always available.
Children from eight years old are welcome at dinner, and all ages at lunch and afternoon tea.
